I am a mixed method researcher with over 7 years of experience in experiment and survey design, data management, analysis, and presentation. I am passionate about integrating qualitative and quantitative insights to uncover user pain points, identify practical solutions, and represent the user voice in shaping product strategy.

I earned my Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from Northwestern University in 2022. My academic research investigates the cognitive processes that underlie people’s reliance on inaccurate information, including why people fail to evaluate the information that they read, even when they should be able to do so. I use a combination of lab experiments, surveys, and social media data to answer my research questions. My research has appeared in journals such as Psychonomic Bulletin & Review, Cognition, Mass Communication and Society, and Policy Insights from the Behavioral and Brain Sciences.

I am currently working as a Senior UX Researcher at Meta Reality Labs working on developing the Quest VR headsets. On weekends I’m probably drinking coffee or rock climbing (or somehow managing both, simultaneously).
