I am a mixed method researcher with over 6 years of experience in experiment and survey design, data management, analysis, and presentation. I am passionate about uncovering user pain points, identifying practical solutions, and representing the user voice to support the integrity and meaningfulness of people’s virtual experiences.
I earned my Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from Northwestern University in 2022. My academic research investigates the cognitive processes that underlie people’s reliance on inaccurate information, including why people fail to evaluate the information that they read, even when they should be able to do so. I use a combination of lab experiments, surveys, and social media data to answer my research questions. My research has appeared in journals such as Psychonomic Bulletin & Review, Cognition, Mass Communication and Society, and Policy Insights from the Behavioral and Brain Sciences.
On weekends I’m probably drinking coffee or rock climbing (or somehow managing both, simultaneously).
